Desperate to jump-start her career, struggling actress Ruth Wilder heads to a casting call at an LA gym -- and quickly realizes it's not a typical audition.

Cherry tries to whip the final group into shape, while Sam sets out in pursuit of a star for his show. Ruth acts out an uncomfortable scene.

Sam's flashy young producer drops in and whisks the girls off to Malibu to party. But artistic differences soon threaten to spoil the fun.

The ladies move into a hotel as part of their training, and Ruth and Sheila are assigned as roommates. Carmen is confronted by her father and brothers, who urge her not to follow in their footsteps as a wrestler.

Sam and Bash deal with a local TV station and a sponsor. Meanwhile, as Debbie struggles to understand wrestling, Carmen brings her and Melrose to a local wrestling show, where Debbie discovers its similarities to soap operas.
 

To fully develop her Zoya the Destroya gimmick, Ruth goes with the motel's manager to a Russian Jewish family party.

GLOW hosts its first live show at the gym, but things go out of hand when Carmen suffers from stage fright. The booked tag team match between Cherry and Tammé, Dawn and Stacy is given an unexpected twist.

The ladies celebrate Sheila's birthday by treating her to a party at a roller disco. Meanwhile, Ruth finds out she is pregnant and secretly undergoes an abortion.

As Bash has been financially cut off by his mother, the ladies attempt to raise money for a new venue by hosting a car wash at the motel.

On the day of the extensive taping, Sam attends to unfinished personal business while Ruth scrambles to make last-minute changes to the lineup.
